Hello everyone on the forum,

My husband and I are moving to Brisbane in January from Albuquerque, New Mexico in the US.  Does anyone know if converted warehouse spaces can be found in Brisbane?

Also does anyone have good advice on short term rentals for once we first arrive?

Thanks,

Thea

Hi Thea

Probably the best area for warehouses converted into living space is around Teneriffe (great inner city area by the Brisbane River). There are some converted woolstores there which are pretty funky.

For short term accommodation, there’s plenty around. Just type in “short-term rental accommodation Brisbane” in Google. You have various option including serviced apartments for daily weekly or 3monthly rentals.

Good Luck in your search for accommodation and enjoy Brizzy when you get here!
