Sundays can be great for spending the day in bed, reading the newspapers and drinking coffee, but sometimes you just want to get out there amongst it. We’ve come up with a few ideas of what to do in Brisbane on a Sunday. No doubt there’s much more to do than what’s on our list so if you have some ideas, we’d love to hear from you.

- Stroll through Southbank Parklands
- Enjoy Chinese Yum Cha at a Chinese restaurant in Fortitude Valley
- Walk or ride a bike along Brisbane's floating RiverWalk
- Take a daytime river cruise or hop on the Brisbane CityCat Ferry
- Visit the Riverside Markets 7:00am - 4:00pm on Eagle Street
- Go for a bushwalk or a picnic in the many parks and reserves
- Go shopping at DFO (Direct Factory Outlet)
- Go ice skating at Iceworld at Boondall and Acacia Ridge
- Try lawn bowling at the Merthyr or New Farm Park Bowls Club
- Enjoy a long lunch at an outdoor pub

Anyone else???

Take a ride on a RiverCat. Its a fun way to spend an hour or two.
Head down to Southbank and go for a swim at the city beach.
While you are there visit the museum.

Head down the coast to Lamington National Park - there's a fab place called O'Reilly's with a tree top walk, gardens and some  great bushwalks. It's only an hour and a half out of Brizzy but you feel you're in another world. Careful on the drive an up the mountain tho - very steep and winding (take anti-nausea drugs if you tend to get car sick!)
