I read recently that a report by a Tourism group recommended that a $10- $15 entrance fee be charged per visit to QLD National Parks. Sure, the government said it wasn't going to charge the fee. Yeah - bit that's now. Don;t we pay enough taxes already and shouldn't visits to parks be something that's encouraged to help us appreciate the environment as well as getting out there and being active.?

I dunno...the almighty dollar has a very loud voice - let's hope the government sticks to its word....

Well if we want to encourage people to get out and get fit and if we're all about the environment, shouldn't access be free? After all, what are we paying taxes for?
