I dunno if anyone can confirm this but i have a sneaking suspicion that KK might be heading up north to sunny Queensland!
A. the Krispy Kreme distribution & manufacturing centre is said to be being built in Logan City - ready by mid 2008 and
B. There was a job ad on Career One for a KK Qld Marketing Manager  to "be responsible launching and building the brand into the sunshine state... opportunity to direct the marketing position of this appetizing brand into the Queensland market." Hmmm....the job ad has since been deleted from CareerOne and there's no reference to it on the KK website...they may not be quite ready to make an official announcement methinks...

I dunno about Krispy Kreme but there are a few Dreamy Donut outlets around. I reckon they're better that KK anyway. KK, you've missed the Brisbane Boat
