I think Brisbane is laid back, charming and familiar. It should be heralded as a City of Sundays!

I thought Brisbane was already the River City! What gives? We have "RiverFire" RIverFest" River this and River that already.

Who decided we need a new brand?

i agree with Stedyedy - the River city is what Brisbane is...a metaphor for life's journey...and gateway to the tropics...portal for new experiences in nature

It's a tricky one. I think it's about lifestyle - en eco-lifestyle where we use cutting edge technology and architecture to structure our lives to one that's environmentally friendly and SMART. A new age city that's in touch with its environment (Mother Nature).
