Can anyone help me? I've a leather jacket that was stored on my wardrobe over Summer - just took it out and it's got this mould all over it. I've tried to wash it with water but it doesn't seem to help? I don't want to damage it but I DO want to wear iT!  With all the wet weather we had I didn't think to store it in a bag since it's never been a problem before.

Can anyone help???

What's worked for me is to wipe the mould off with a cloth then wipe with diluted rubbing alcohol (such as Isopropyl). Then allow to dry - it helps if you direct a fan onto your jacket to help the drying process.
