Just wondering if anyone knows if the shops will be open on Anzac day as it's a public holiday???

It'll be pretty much like Xmas Day or Good Friday, with many shops closed on ANZAC Day. For example, Logan Hyperdome and Toowong Village will be closed but DFO will be open. I believe that supermarkets will be closed (Woolworths & Coles). So I suggest checking first or even better, shopping the day before so you don't get caught out!

Also, most pubs won't open before 1pm on ANZAC Day, except of course RSL and Services clubs.
