i am looking for a job in the diesel industry in brisbane.  anyone know where to start looking?  i currently work for a caterpillar dealer in the US

You don't say what you do in the industry - are you qualified? If so, you won't have much trouble finding a suitable job at all, especially if you are willing to move to more remote areas of Queensland (i.e. live outside of Brisbane temporarily). There continues to be somewhat of a mining and construction boom in Queensland at present meaning people experienced in diesel and Caterpillar are highly sought after.
