We were thinking of checking out Aussie world up the Sunshine Coast. Has anybody been?

I've driven past it a few times and The Pub looks good but not sure whether it's worth pulling over or not.

Aussie World is definitely worth a visit.  There's plenty to see and do for the kids, heaps of rides, side show alley and water wars and plenty of quirky souvenir shops to pick up something unique.  There are also two great eateries, Bluey's Bar and Grill located at the top of the Ettamogah pub and FJ cafe, located within the Aussie World ground, it is themed with some great 50's memorabilia.  The pub itself is great, plenty of reminders of times gone by and a decent beer too. Could spend a whole day there!
