Meditation in Daily Life Courses -  Explore Self-Inquiry Meditation.

“Take this life as an opportunity to finally free yourself. The answer lies in yourself  and in your meditation you can finally experience it” – Paramahans SwamiJi Maheshwarananda

Yoga in Daily Life is a holistic system comprising not only the physical, but also mental and spiritual aspects.  ‘Self Enquiry Meditation’ is a fundamental aspect of the Yoga in Daily life system which guides us to become acquainted with our own nature – as we are and why we are so – and then beyond self acceptance to self realisation.

‘Self Inquiry Meditation’ practices are developed step by step. The initial practice is to attain complete physical relaxation. Next is to increase the ability to concentrate through the practices of visualisation, imagination and mantra repetition. Then the mind is turned inwards to inquire into the contents of our own consciousness – to our personal qualities, perceptions and habits of thought.

Through self analysis we are able to overcome negative qualities and habits and help better manage life’s problems.  We also discover beautiful, positive qualities which we find a great help for our self and our relationships with others.  When we develop a regular meditation practice the benefits flow effortlessly into our daily life - physical, social mental and spiritual.

The program is comprised of three 4 week courses, progressing through levels 1-3 of the ‘Self Inquiry Meditation’ technique. In each course you will be guided through practices related to each level, opportunities for discussion on relevant topics as well as advice for developing a home practice.

“Meditation exerts such a pleasant, harmonising effect upon one's whole body and psyche. There comes to exist in one's heart something so peaceful which no-one can ever take away.” H.H. Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda, founder of Yoga in Daily Life.
