Queensland Brides magazine is proud to present the 2008 Queensland Brides Design Awards, an annual event showcasing top bridal fashion designers from all over Queensland!
Designers come from far and wide to compete in four categories, Classique, Bride Nouveau, Avant Garde and Couture, with a clear objective in mind, to wow audiences and aspire to take out the People's Choice Award and the coveted Supreme Award. The awards also feature a special Student category themed "Calico Bride", where students from the states' top design colleges are given 7 metres of calico to come up with the most creative designs.
Audiences will not be disappointed with the talent on show this year. 51 gowns will be on display from 15 top bridal designers and 32 gowns presented from 31 student designers.
So if you are getting married soon and are looking for the latest in design or just for some great ideas, the 2008 Awards are not to be missed!
